hey girlfriend!

As a young marketing professional with an MBA in International Business, I strive for genuine, honest, high quality content that inspires, engages and connects with my community. My mission has always been to help others in their journey to find self loveand self acceptance.
I’m all about empowering people to become the best version of themselves. I aspire to inspire them to improve their relationship with food and fitness. My dream is that everyone finds freedom through food and create habits that will support a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.
this my story...
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I grew up spending my weekends at the beach. Puerto Rico has always been home for me, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world, I'm a true island girl.
Went to the University of PR, Rio Piedras and obtained a BA in Marketing and an MBA in International Business. Currently working as a Marketing Activations Manager for LATAM at The Hershey Company - a chocolate powerhouse with leading brands.
I love my job as it's complex, dynamic and I get to bring to life strategies to take our brands to the next level while streghtening our relationships with customers and consumers.
During most of my life, I struggled with insecurities, body image and my relationship with food. I dealed with constant self criticism and lived a life fearing what others would think about my body.
On January 2013, I took a leap of faith and did something that terrified me - I started CrossFit. Little did I know that this decision would have such a strong impact on me and change my life forever.
Currently, I have a career as a marketing professional, while pursuing my passion of helping others in their relationship with food. I have a side job as a Lifestyle & Nutrition Coach and continue to develop my personal fitness and healthy lifestyle.
what is it about food?
Over the years, I have learned how powerful food can be when we hold a positive place for it in our lives.
During my teenage years, I developed an unhealthy relationship with food. I skipped meals as a form of punishment because "I ate too much yesterday". Extreme diets, detoxes, labeling certain foods as “good” and “bad,”restricting carb intake and avoiding full food groups - eventually lead to my battle with disordered eating.
Facing and acknowledging my disordered eating tendencies allowed me to heal and refocus on finding a balance with both food and exercise — something that I know can be a daily struggle for so many people. I’m certain my journey will be ever-changing, but it’s important to tell the story of where I’ve been and where I am.
During this process, I've found a certain pleasure incooking, it's therapeutic for me. Most of what I cook is for those with active, healthy lifestyles wanting to nourish their bodies properly. You’ll find plenty of simple meals to share with your family and friends. I love to get creative with the ingredients I have at hand. I try to keep it simple while tasty and delicious. I also enjoy baking — waiting for thefinal outcome is like magic to me.
